About the Role:
Fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, supportive team and take on a State Manager role. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role leading a team of Merchandisers across Victoria and Tasmania. If you are self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and have a passion for managing people, we want to hear from you!
Some duties include but are not limited to:
• Day-to-day management of field Merchandisers
• Maintain regular communication with internal/external stakeholders via phone calls, email and in person
• Recruitment, training and development of new and existing team members
• Initiate and facilitate regular contact with local suppliers' sales reps
• Ensure compliance with call cycles and approve timesheets
• Build and develop professional relationships with clients, field staff and support office staff
• Work towards KPI's/Sales targets
• Travel from time to time as required
About You:
• 5+ years’ experience in a Merchandising, Management/Leadership role (or similar)
• Prior experience within the retail, auto/hardware industry will be highly regarded
• Ability to train new team members
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Professional, presentable, and punctual
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
