Role Overview: State Manager
As a State Manager, you will drive growth, foster business partnerships, and elevate the brand in your region. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a commitment to our client's core values: responsibility, dedication, esteem, endurance, cooperation, and superiority as foundational principles guiding behaviour and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
The position entails crafting and executing annual operational plans and financial forecasts in line with overarching strategic objectives while partnering with senior leadership to define and promote the organization's mission and ethical standards. Responsibilities include safeguarding the organization's long-term stability and fostering leadership development. The role also involves cultivating a workplace culture that embodies the organization's values and encourages optimal performance, managing compliance with approved guidelines, and regularly reviewing the performance of both the organization and its personnel. Financial oversight is a key aspect, which includes managing budget processes, ensuring adherence to financial regulations, and maintaining clear financial communication with senior leadership. In HR, the role supports talent acquisition and employee growth and handles employee relations and compliance issues. Moreover, the role is responsible for directing the production and coordination of marketing initiatives and events, nurturing relationships with external parties by representing the organization's interests and values to stakeholders and liaising with governmental entities.
Selection Criteria
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience as a State Manager or equivalent.
- Solid experience in the flooring industry.
- Expertise in sales and product specifications.
- Proven experience in the preparation and submission of formal tenders.
