We are currently experiencing major sales growth and recruiting for a State Operations Manager who can provide leadership to our existing team and assist with the further growth of our operations team. You will be required to execute the financial and operational plans safely, as well as provide ongoing training and development of your team with a constant focus on customer satisfaction and providing a safe work environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Review and approve project plans against previous projects and historical lead times to ensure plans are achievable.
- Review and update schedule
- Weekly meetings with Project Consultants to review and update progress against schedule as well as provide input into future projects.
- Monitor project costs and compare with project progress to identify project cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
- Recruitment, planning, and implement ongoing training and development of operations teams
- Contractor onboarding and compliance.
- Ensure all EHS requirements are being met daily by teams and contractors
Experience / Key Competencies:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, with exceptional organisational skills.
- Ability to multitask and problem solve
- Computer literate with knowledge of scheduling (Smartsheet would be beneficial).
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Ability to work in and develop a team environment
- Ability to change and be proactively involved in a changing work environment.
