The Opportunity:
Symbion Pharmacy have an awesome opportunity for an experienced, driven and resilient State Operations Manager to join their team.
In this role you will lead, manage, and develop a team including supervisors and warehouse team members whilst ensuring safe and efficient warehousing and delivery of Symbion Pty Ltd range of products to Hospitals and Pharmacies within the state.
You will also work collaboratively with the State Business Development Manager to ensure continuous improvement initiatives are executed, driving positive change across the site, and ensuring Customer Service expectations are met and financial, safety, quality and compliance targets are achieved.
What you will do:
- Lead, manage and develop a team;
- Deliver operational cost, quality and service objectives;
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes, operational efficiency and service to customers;
- Provide and drive a safe work environment maintaining compliance with our workplace health and safety management policies and procedures.
What we are looking for:
- Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, complex, FMCG/Healthcare warehouse environment;
- Strong people leadership skills and ability to demonstrate success in developing and improving team performance;
- Understanding of Lean principles and how to apply them in an Operations role;
- Results driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Continuous improvement and change management experience.
