The Stations:
Balfour Downs Station is a breeding property located less than 200km from the township of Newman which is near the picturesque Karijini National Park in Western Australia.
Brickhouse Station is a 225,000ha station located on the outskirts of Carnarvon. Brickhouse is utilised as a backgrounding property, contributing to the Harvest Road vertically integrated beef supply chain.
The Opportunities:
We are looking for self-motivated and positive Station Hands to join our friendly teams based at Balfour Downs Station and Brickhouse Station. These are permanent, full-time positions to start as soon as possible to provide day-to-day support to the Station Managers in all aspects of animal husbandry and maintenance of station infrastructure and machinery.

- No dogs are allowed.
- 4x4 vehicle recommended.
Our ideal candidates will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience handling horses and riding motorbikes.
- Enthusiasm about a rural working lifestyle that offers challenges and rewards each day.
- Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices and animal welfare.
- Motivation and be hard-working, willing to positively contribute to the Harvest Road culture.
- Strong work ethic and enjoy being part of a close-knit and passionate team.
- Be a self-starter, and confident working independently.
- Willingness to adhere to the guidance of the station management staff.
- A current manual driver’s licence.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Sufficient fitness level if required for the role.
- Pass a National Police Clearance and pre-employment medical assessment.
