In this role you will have the following accountabilities:

• The review of applications to determine whether development approval is required.
• Undertaking advertising of development applications to the public;
• Assist in coordinating the process for the clearance of planning conditions.
• Providing relevant statistical reports and information in relation to tasks, workloads and applications.
• Provide the first point of call for the Planning and Compliance teams dealing with technical queries of a minor nature.

Our preferred candidates will be able to demonstrate the following experiences and skillset:

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to perform checks of plans accurately and systematically against requirements.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly developed administrative and time management skills.
• Ability to demonstrate a genuine commitment and responsiveness in providing the highest quality of customer service.
• Enthusiasm and ability to work in a team environment.
• Understanding of Building and Planning Legislation.
• Experience in local government or the, Planning or Compliance industry.
