About the role
We have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Planner to join our Future Water Solutions business unit to plan and oversee delivery of projects within the Liveable Communities team. This role will be based in our Leederville office, reporting to the Senior Principal Strategic Programs.
What the role will involve
- Working with key stakeholders to contribute towards the formulation of our Assets for Liveability Roadmap
- Working with local governments and internal stakeholders to identify potential projects for inclusion in our Assets for Liveability program
- Working with relevant stakeholder to deliver on the approved projects within our Liveability program.
- Representing the Corporation on various liveability related committees and working groups
- Act as a key interface with stakeholders such as local government to provide advice related to drainage and water sensitive urban design;
Key skills and experience
You’ll be degree qualified in an engineering, science or similar discipline, with experience in the planning, design, acquisition or operational delivery of liveability concepts and water sensitive urban design. Knowledge of work practices and systems relevant to asset investment planning, and experience with drainage infrastructure, including water sensitive urban design principles will be desirable. Your ability to build and drive positive and collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
