CSSD Sterilisation Technician - Casual opportunities available

About the Role
The Perioperative environment is inclusive and interesting encompassing a variety of surgeries.
Training in instrument care and cleaning and maintaining endoscopes will be provided.
As the Sterilisation Technician, you are required to:
Assisting Nursing staff in ensuring daily set ups are complete and endoscopy sterilisation processes are to standard
Ensure consistency and continuous workflow between the various Operating Theatre areas and CSD
Provide exceptional customer service
Maintaining the high operational standards of the sterilisation department.
About You
The desire to learn and grow your skills and knowledge
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Sterilisation Services Certificate III is desirable

Port Macquarie Private Hospital is a 72-bed acute Medical/Surgical and Rehab facility with 6 operating theatres, 6 Renal Chairs and a Day Surgery complex and is continually growing its services. Comprehensive Medical/Surgical services are offered with 24-hour Medical Officer Support including Rehabilitation, General Medical, General Surgical, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Bariatric Surgery, Urology, Plastic & Ophthalmology.

Requirements
Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
