Key Responsibilities:
Stock Database Management:
- Focus strongly on maintaining and updating accurate stock databases across our venues.
- Ensure the integrity of stock data through regular reviews and updates.
Procurement and Accounting:
- Take charge of all purchase orders, supplier invoices, and credit adjustment requests from suppliers.
- Implement processes to ensure accurate accounting records for seamless financial reporting.
Communication and Reporting:
- Act as the sole point of contact for stock reporting to the finance team and department heads.
- Conduct and manage stocktakes, providing comprehensive reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
Quality Control:
- Uphold high standards of quality by scrutinizing incoming goods and collaborating with kitchen and service teams.
Cost Management:
- Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards.
- Analyze pricing trends to contribute to overall profitability.
Stockroom Support Management:
- Establish and maintain efficient processes for stock accounting from receipt to dispatch.
- Oversee the transition to a single warehouse concept for streamlined operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in stock control and Procurement ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
