As Stock Controller in our IGA Grocery store network you’ll play a pivotal role in driving process improvements and improving business performance.
Working in partnership with the Store Manager you’ll be responsible for store stock controls, including ordering, stock takes, replenishments and stock controls. You’ll also coordinate the replenishment processes, ensuring minimal delays between stock deliveries and the stock being available on shelf to our customers.

We have four IGA supermarkets, with this position based in either Sovereign Place or Wauchope store. You will occasionally be required to lend a hand in our Port Macquarie or Timbertown stores, working as part of the broader Hastings Co-op team.
About you
Previous stock control experience is essential, preferably in a grocery environment.
The successful applicant will need proven inventory control experience, be able to build effective workplace relationships to rally teams to achieve to get the job done and have exceptional attention to detail and organisational communication skills. You’ll also need to be comfortable using a range of IT programs and platforms, including Microsoft and business programs. A forklift licence is a must for this position.

This is a permanent, full-time position, working a rotating roster, which includes occasional weekends, early mornings and evenings.
