Kimberly Livestock & Property (KLP) a Nutrien Ag Solutions Partner, and the biggest Cattle business in Western Australia, currently have an opportunity to call Kimberly home.
We are current offering a unique opportunity for a Stock & Station Agent to join the KLP team, conducting, all, day to day aspects of Agency Business. The position is based in Broome Western Australia.
About the role:
The focus of this role will be on live export as the main market, with a strong focus on selling sore and breeding cattle from the Kimberley and Pilbara across Australia.
Responsible for promoting livestock sales with the Broome/ Kimberly region with the aim of protecting, maintain and growing the whole business. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to;
Proactively maintain and develop sales and business relationships with all customers across the business
Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans and sales strategies
Expand number of products and services bought by each customer
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and regional industry personnel
Provide market updates on industry trends, marketing trends, competitor activities and strategies
Provide activity performance reports as required Provide support to other division and branch activities
What we’ll love about you:
To be successful, you will have an understanding of the Livestock & Agriculture industry and have a livestock agency experience.
In addition, you will have:
Excellent written and verbal communication
The ability to build long-term relationships.
Have worked within a busy team environment.
The first point of contact for clients and become their prefered Livestock expert.
A current drivers’ licence is essential
