Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the Crusher Control system and record operating parameters and other relevant information as directed
- Conduct and record routine plant inspections.
- Safely execute minor maintenance works around the crushing plant within areas of competency
- Inspect, maintain, clean and operate other auxiliary equipment such as but not limited to Bobcats, Loaders, Forklifts, Telehandlers etc.
- Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed plant machinery and equipment
- Fixed plant crushing experience - Control and operation of the crushing plant, on an as required basis, including inspection and checking of plant and equipment and recording of operating parameters and other relevant information as required on the crusher log sheets
- Stockyard and balance operating experience (Necessary)
- Experience in operating/controlling a TLO.
- Understanding of stockyard stacking philosophies including footprints.
- Understanding of supply chain requirements to meet supplier needs.
- Housekeeping all areas of the fixed plant and port as required and/or directed.
- Assisting maintenance workers with maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment during plant shutdowns and breakdowns.
- Report any safety incident/ hazard to your Supervisor within 30 minutes
- Conduct a job hazard analysis prior to commencing any new task
- Ensure 100% compliance with company policies and safety procedures
- Actively participate in handover, pre-start, safety and toolbox meetings
- Good verbal and written communication skills
What is required:
- Experience with fixed plant maintenance, ideally in mining or a similar industry
- C Class Driver’s License
- Australian or Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
- High Risk License - EWP, DG & RB
- Working at heights / Confined Spaces / Gas Test Atmospheres
- National Police Check
