About the business and the role
Goodyear Autocare is a one stop shop for tyres, wheels, batteries, car servicing and general mechanical repairs. Goodyear Autocare operate a national chain of franchise stores across Australia with more than 130 outlets nation wide. We currently require the skills of an experienced Store Manager to Manage one of our privately owned franchise outlets in Chermside Brisbane.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Store Manager for Goodyear Autocare would include.
- Having strong leadership skills
- Retail and trade sales
- Have the ability to manage and motivate a team of staff
- Stock control
- Customer service
- Meeting set targets of both sales and profit
- General administration duties
- Organizing the daily operations of the store
- Have the ability to operate within the Goodyear Autocare code of conduct including workplace OH&S guidelines.
- Be a punctual and reliable team player
- Be well presented
- Have a valid Australian drivers license
- Have good manners and interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to think and operate within a fast paced environment
- Have the ability to identify and develop new customers
Skills and experience
The successful applicant would be a self motivated individual that has a proven track record of meeting both sales and profit targets in this type of Automotive management role, and have a sound knowledge and understanding of what it takes to run a successful automotive retail business. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and will make a positive contribution towards the success of the business.
