About the Roles
We have two exciting opportunities for experienced Store Managers to oversee the daily operations of modern self-storage facilities located in inner city Adelaide and Seaford.
You will be well suited to this role if you are passionate about helping customers find their perfect storage solution, enjoy the challenge of profit and loss responsibility, and are motivated by being empowered to treat the facility as your own.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service and Sales
- Ensure a positive storage experience, delivering storage solutions that are as convenient and hassle-free as possible for our customers.
- Handling all enquiries, being the face of Roomia by delivering flawless customer service
- Resolve customer problems in an effective and timely manner
Management / Operations
- A hands-on management approach and ability to lead by example
- A strong training focus, with the ability to inspire and mentor your team to success
- Develop, implement and oversee business growth opportunities such as new product lines.
- Work closely with your team to align goals and to achieve business goals and revenue targets.
- Conduct routine site safety checks and adhere to all policies and procedures, inclusive of OH&S.
Administration/Reporting
- Complete performance updates/report as required
- Ensure store accounts remain current and follows collection procedures for all overdue accounts
- Maintain accurate customer records including leases, insurance documents, change of addresses, addendums, collections notices and all other correspondence
Maintenance
- Understand operations and maintenance requirements for facility systems
- Performs minor maintenance and duties
- Oversee maintenance worker(s) or outside contractors while performing routine maintenance or repairs at the facility
- Ensure units and grounds are clean and free of debris always
Conduct & Culture
- Conduct activities as per OH&S policy and standards
- Be a productive team member and treat colleagues and the company with mutual respect
- Help maintain, lead and encourage good company culture
Our ideal candidate
- Previous experience as a Manager and/or ability to work unsupervised within a retail environment
- Proven computer and literacy skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Accurate filing and record keeping skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with good problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills with the ability to build repeat business
