TIMSTOCK ranges over 3000 products making us the ‘go to’ foodservice provider for professional bakers and pastry cooks. We operate out of our warehouse and head office facility conveniently located in South-East Melbourne operating our own fleet of distribution vehicles supported by a specialist sales team.
What you will be doing
We are looking for an experienced general warehouse and Store Person to join our team. You will work regular Monday to Friday hours, with occasional overtime in a comfortable and friendly environment.
- Recording Goods inwards / outwards and stock control
- QA of incoming stock
- Order picking and packing
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Monitoring stock levels
- Rotation of stock actively managing product shelf life
- Managing stock ullage
- Participating in regular stock takes
- Communication with Key internal and external stakeholders
- Actively supporting our HACCP Quality system
- Ensuring good housekeeping practices and high standards of hygiene across the various warehouses on site
What's required?
- Current valid Forklift license - required
- Driver's License - clean and current
- At least 2 years continuous service in a similar environment
- A Police check and pre-employment medical may be required
- Experience loading and unloading trucks
- Experience with ambient, chilled and frozen storage (Bonus Points)
- Experience with enterprise systems and sound computer literacy
- Good communication skills and a ‘team player’
- Pick packing, palletising stock
- Shrink wrapping (Both manual and machine operated)
- Experience working with bulky products (Bonus Points)
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data recording
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
- Sound WHS knowledge
