The Role
We are looking for a reliable Store Person to join our Darwin facility.
This role is in our warehouse & workshop working with a close-knit team carrying out hose assembling, crimping and testing, as well as general warehouse duties.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assembling and crimping a variety of industrial & hydraulic hose assemblies (training provided)
- Pressure testing of hose assemblies, both in the workshop and occasionally on customers sites (training provided)
- Packing orders, forklift operation and other general warehouse duties
- Adhere to HSE standards and quality control procedures
- Support and promote HoseCo’s values
Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone who is:
- Solutions focused and technically minded
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
- Able to work closely with others in a team environment, as well as autonomously when required
- Willing to adapt to changing business requirements
- Physically fit
Our ideal candidate will have;
- Previous experience with hydraulic and industrial hose & fittings, however it is not necessary, and people with cross-industry experience & roles are highly encouraged to apply
- Forklift licence (ideal but not required)
- Experience in warehouse duties
- Strong customer focus
The successful candidate will be required to provide a police check from within the last 12 months. A pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening may also be required.
