Dedicated and detail-oriented Store Person wanted to join the team at Black Rubber, leading tyre supply & service organisation.
About Us
Black Rubber is a leading tyre supply & service organisation focused on the provision of efficient & safe tyre management services catering for the transport, industrial, mining & resource industries as well as the passenger car market.
This person will play a vital role & assist with a variety of tasks, including inventory management, stock coordination & directly supporting the Service Coordinator to ensure efficient operations across the workshop.
Roles/responsibilities
- - Assist with incoming shipments, checking them for accuracy and quality.
- - Unload delivery trucks and transfer tyres to designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- - Prepare shipments for outbound delivery, including proper packaging and labelling of products.
- - Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, i.e. forklifts, pallet wrapping machines, strapping machines, etc.
- - Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient warehouse operations.
- - Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, including receipts, shipments, and stock adjustments.
- - Assist with periodic stocktakes and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- - Perform general maintenance tasks in the warehouse, such as cleaning and organising storage areas.
- - Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and inventory management.
Skills & Experience
- - Valid Driver’s licence & Forklift ticket.
- - Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
- - Experience in the Tyre & Wheel industry – desirable.
