About the roleWe are currently seeking a hard-working and experienced Storeperson. The successful applicant will have relevant experience in a similar role or the landscape /construction industry and is hands on with a can-do attitude. You will also need to be a reliable, enthusiastic, extremely organised and a self-motivated person. The position is based out of Bunbury, providing an opportunity to take advantage of the lifestyle benefits of the South West region.
Responsibilities- Procurement of general consumables, materials and stock control
- Nursery (greenstock) control and maintenance
- Receipt of yard deliveries and delivery out to sites
- General housekeeping of the store, staff facilities and yard
- Servicing and minor repair of trailers and small machines
- Fleet management
- Unloading and loading with Forklift
- Adherence to LD Total Safety Management Plan
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience with small machines and power tools
- Experience with fleet management
- Experience with small machinery and trailer repairs, including general maintenance (preferred)
- Strong communication, organisational and problem solving skills
- Able to work in both a team environment and unsupervised
- Set and achieve high safety standards
- Forklift and HR license (preferred)
- Full-time permanent position with competitive pay rate
