We now have an opportunity for a Storeperson in our Fluid Connectors division to work in our Moranbah Warehouse.
General Characteristics:
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring goods are stored and distributed in an efficient, safe and timely manner, therefore guaranteeing customer orders are fulfilled, whilst meeting both output and quality standards.
Representative Activities:
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders
- Store products according to system guidelines
- Confirm and transfer goods
- Handle warehouse receivables
- Wrap pallets and packaging
- Optimize inventory storage
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards
- Follow safety procedures
- Perform JDE maintenance
- Ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards
- Implement Quality Assurance procedures
- Assist with warehouse functions as needed
- Conduct cycle counting
- Attend team meetings
- Attend training programs and competency assessments
- Review and update performance appraisals with manager
- Participate in annual stock take
- Engage in HPT team activities
Experience:
- High Reach Forklift driving
- 2 years warehouse experience
- The ability to work autonomously
- hydraulic hose knowledge and hose assembly experience will be considered favorably
Preferred Skills
- Solid knowledge of warehousing principles, including warehousing safety and safe work practices
- Sound customer service and communication skills, verbal and written
- Intermediate knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office applications
- Good time management skills, along with the ability to multitask
- Ability to develop detailed knowledge of product range
