Are you an experienced Storeperson with a keen eye for detail and a knack for efficient logistics? Join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction at our client's Bibra Lake DC.
As a Storeperson, you will efficiently despatch goods for customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will accept deliveries, receipt, unpack, sort, and inspect goods for quality, quantity, type, or size, while securing proof of deliveries. You will be responsible for completing store reports and accurately recording stock movements. You will safely operate forklifts to move containers, crates, cartons, IBCs, and palletised goods.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role. You will need to demonstrate excellent time management abilities to meet deadlines consistently. Additionally, you will perform adhoc housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
This role is Monday to Friday, with typical hours being 7am to 3:06pm.
This is a Temp to Perm opportunity, where you will start as a casual working for National Workforce, and then become Permanent with our client after 3 - 6 months.
Requirements:
- Must be an Australian/NZ citizen or Permanent resident.
- Possess a current Australian Forklift Licence (LF).
- Have several years of experience in a similar role, including at least 3 years operating both counterbalance and high reach forklifts.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting, up to 25kg.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
- Preferably have experience with Dangerous Goods and HACCP protocols.
- Must have local and reliable transport.
