As a experienced Storeperson, you will play a pivotal role in manage the inventory and stock of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing goods, maintaining accurate records of inventory, and ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse and a smooth functioning of our manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming materials, verifying the accuracy of the contents against the purchase order.
- Inspect deliveries for damages or discrepancies and promptly report any issues.
- Store goods in the appropriate location, ensuring that they are easily accessible and properly labeled.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
- Collaborate with other departments to dispatch outgoing orders.
- Maintain a clean and organised store, ensuring that all safety procedures are followed.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Storeperson or similar role within manufacturing industry.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Computer proficiency, excellent time management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
