We are a Digitalised business that invests back into technology and have 3 CNC computerised laths, 4 manual lathes, 6 welding bay facilities, digital crimpers for making PTFE hose, rubber hoses, code hoses, we have a dedicated in-house pressure testing department with the capabilities of producing pressure graphs and certificates.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Storeperson - Maintenance Assistant to work with our production team at our Burleigh Heads Branch for an immediate start.
- This is a full time position at Burleigh Heads on the sunny Gold Coast
- Hours are 7.00am - 3.30pm
- You will undertake Incoming goods duties as well as stock management
- You will also undertake routine and breakdown maintenance duties on company assets
- You will also have the opportunity to work in other areas of the production workshop
How You’ll Make a Difference
Working closely with the Logistics and Production Teams, your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ensure all product conforms to specifications and have been received packaged appropriately.
- Completion of incoming documentation.
- Picking of goods and allocation of components for daily jobs as per Sales Orders.
- Maintenance of stock levels/replenishment.
- Perform breakdown maintenance repairs as required.
- Ability to identify and solve root causes to prevent further re-occurrences.
- Fault finding on all plant and equipment.
- Conduct planned maintenance and operational inspections.
- Ensure all plant and equipment is maintained as per Maintenance Schedule.
- Installation/Relocation of plant and equipment (old/new).
- Overhauling and reconditioning machinery and equipment.
- Coordination of external contract works for maintenance services.
About You
As the successful candidate, you will have:
- Trade Certificate (highly desirable)
- Cert III in Logistics (desirable)
- Class C (unrestricted) Drivers Licence
- High Risk Work Licence
- Experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Experience in analysing equipment condition and identifying maintenance requirements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Familiarity with inventory management systems/software
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
