We are currently seeking a Store person at The Reef Hotel Casino, the pre-eminent centre for gaming, entertainment, food and accommodation in Cairns.
A great opportunity for a physically fit and experienced Store person to join our Purchasing Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Receives deliveries of stock which arrive through the dock, check the quality and quantity, then store in the correct manner ensuring all administration is processed.
- Completes all beverage/general requisitions, which are delivered to the outlets throughout the complex.
- Liaise with managers, supervisors and line staff in all departments daily.
- Ensure inventory supplies are sufficient to meet the properties operational requirements.
- Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded on a timely basis.
Criteria
- Previous experience in a stores/purchasing position in a hotel or supermarket environment.
- Current forklift licence
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills
- Accurate documentation recording with attention to detail
- Food and Beverage knowledge preferred
- Understanding of stock control and procedures
- Able to identify products and descriptions.
- Confident in liaising with all property outlets
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to accommodate flexibility with shifts
