Aero Defence, a leading supplier to the Australian Defence force are currently seeking a focused and experienced Warehouse Storeperson to join their team. Job tasks and responsibilities
- SAP Inventory Control – ensuring accurate & timely information to Management
- Receive and manage incoming & outgoing deliveries in an efficient manner
- Responding to customer and supplier queries
- Back order reporting
- Maintenance of stock levels
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and take corrective action in line with company quality standards
- Storing and packing of products in accordance with appropriate procedures and regulations
- Communication with suppliers to ensure quality of products meet company standards
- Manage import & export of freight
- Monitor delivery requirements and liaise with customers on tracking status and order information
- Adhere to the company quality manual standard whilst working with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance
- Associated administrative tasks
Skills and experience
- Very high attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
- Microsoft Office – excel, outlook and word is essential in this role
- SAP Business One – experience with this software (or similar) is highly desirable
- Understanding of and experience in IT will be to advantage
- Organising and prioritising tasks
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position
- Aviation/Aerospace background highly regarded
