Capstone Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading Asset Owner & Operator who is delivering a large scale Solar Farm in the Fraser Coast and Gympie region of Queensland.
Due to continued growth our client is looking for an experienced Site Logistics/storesperson to play a crucial role in managing site deliveries, maintaining inventory, and facilitating effective communication between Head Office and our project sites.
Education Requirements: High-School Certificate or equivalent qualification (e.g., Trade School, logistics or supply chain qualification)
Knowledge Requirements (Technical Competencies)
- Familiarity with regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements, including Chain of Responsibility (COR), Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), and Load Restraint Guidelines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Basic understanding of construction practices and business principles.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Construction Management Software (ideally Procore and Hammertech).
- Experience with modern Warehouse Management Systems software.
- Strong team-building skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in an international company is preferred.
- Previous experience in renewables, construction, or logistics.
- Familiarity with staging and unloading practices, such as Loading & Unloading Exclusion Zones (LUEZ).
- Photovoltaic installation experience is advantageous but not required.

- Construction Safety Induction (White Card)
- First Aid certification.
Position Specifications: Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinating and receiving all site deliveries, ensuring accurate records and proper storage.
- Maintaining site delivery schedule aligned with project timelines.
- Liaising with couriers, drivers, and site contacts.
- Handling site materials according to manufacturers' instructions.
- Loading and unloading trucks and pallets.
- Managing inventory registers and document management.
- Assisting with material inspections and defect capturing.
- Conducting general site maintenance and repairs.
- Monitoring site consumables and facilities.
- Effective communication with site staff, drivers, and subcontractors.
- Contribution to company-wide initiatives and process improvements.
- Participation in lessons learned and system development.
- Ownership of site-based materials and logistics activities.
Whats on offer:
- 90k- 95K + Super - Accommodation & Meal allowance provided if working on a roster.
- Full time 12 month fixed term contract, opportunity to move from project to project.
- 10/4 Roster or 5:2 Roster. Project is roughly 3 hours away from Brisbane.
