This is an exciting opportunity for a Store person. Reporting to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager, Store person duties include the efficient and accurate packing and dispatch of customer orders.

The key responsibilities for this position include:
Safety
Comply with relevant OHS/WHS legislation including:

Quality
- Attends and participates in all relevant training and personal development.
- Participate in site Continuous improvement program including ownership of the Raw Material and Finished Goods 5S/Housekeeping Program
- Actively participates in planned site meetings.
- Compliance with relevant Global GAP, HACCP or other relevant production requirements, ensuring activities comply with the program and assisisting to manage the maintenance of site accreditations.
- Ensure compliance with environmental protection permit guidelines applicable to the site.
Technical
- Efficient and effective receival of goods into store, including completion of Goods Receival Note, notifying Warehouse Administrator of any damaged goods or any related discrepancies on their arrival.
- Maintain and support inventory accuracy by location within the Raw Material and Finished Goods stores.
- Maintain and support FIFO disciplines for both Raw Material and Finished Goods movements.
- Support the receipt of Bulk Materials and Oil receipts as directed
- Support the Finished Goods bagging operation as directed.
- Liaise with drivers to pick-up and/or deliver goods on behalf of customers where necessary.
- Store, handle & pack dangerous goods in accordance with legislative guidelines.
- Ensure all company vehicles (Forklifts and Floor cleaners) are well maintained including checking fluid levels are kept at optimum levels and batteries are kept charged.
- Assist with stock-takes.
- Notify Warehouse Administrator of any low stock levels.
- Accurate entry of Expired Goods/Split Goods into the register.
- Operate, maintain and improve processes and equipment to ensure optimal line performance
- Optimise plant and machinery sanitation and cleaning in accordance with policy and procedures to ensure that the required standard of cleanliness and overall hygiene is maintained at all times
- Identify and recommend improvements for any Non-conformances or process issues relating to product quality, safety and/or plant maintenance to the Shift Team Leader
- Identify and actively participate in CI opportunities
- Any other responsibilities and/or authorities as designated by your supervisor/manager.
The key skills required for this role include
- Good safety Focus and situational awareness
- Great attention to detail and being able to follow direction
- Prior experience working in Warehousing and in packaged good environment preferred
- Current Forklift and Reach-All Licence
- Inventory control experience advantageous
- Experience loading trucks
- Picking and Packing experience preferred
- Food safe experience preferred
