The Opportunity
As our Warehouse Storeperson your main responsibilities will be to assist in maintaining high standards of organisation, efficiency, cleanliness, and viability surrounding the stock, plant, and equipment management of the Caboolture Warehouse in conjunction with the Purchasing Officer and Branch Manager.
- 5.30am – 3.00pm Shift (2pm finish on the Thursday before your Friday RDO)
- 9 day fortnight with every second Friday off
- Immediate or flexible start available
- $55,000-$57,000 + super, per annum
- Free onsite parking
How you will make an impact
- General warehouse duties
- Receiving and dispatch
- Forklift operation
- Stocking and organising warehouse shelves
- Loading and unloading trucks / vehicles using both manual labour as well as forklift
- Placing orders for stock and other materials
- Picking and Packing orders accurately
- Unpacking carton and pallet material deliveries
- Making up pallets ready for delivery to site
- Effectively communicating with internal staff and external suppliers
- Adhere to all OH&S requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Other related tasks as directed
What are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will demonstrate experience in domestic projects, along with the following:
- Current Queensland Manual Driver’s License
- Forklift License preferred, or willingness to obtain one for the role
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, however full training is provided
- Great attention to detail and highly organised
- Good communication team work skills
- Awareness of safety and quality conscious attitude
- Reliability and a positive and enthusiastic attitude
