We are looking for an experienced and organised Store person to join our team in a council role in St Peters (Inner West Sydney). To assist stores staff in supplying council staff with goods sourced from the council store via front counter service and deliveries. Receipt of goods from suppliers via the loading dock and unloading trucks. You must have a current Forklift Licence and C Class License.
Duties
- Forklift operation
- Inventory control
- Coordinate stock movement
- Receiving & dispatch of goods
- Picking & packing with RF scanners
- Stocktakes
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role (Despatch and Customer Service) Knowledge of warehousing & distribution
- RF scanning experience
- Current Forklift licence
- High Reach Experience
- Ability to work with different sized freight (small parcels to heavy machinery)
- Ability to work in team with focus on giving excellent customer service
- Be Physically Fit for Manual Handling Tasks
- Inspecting for damage.
- Moving goods around a store.
- Stocking shelves.
