Role Duties

• Lead the development of strategies and programs for stormwater and overland flood infrastructure.
• Manage stormwater and floodplain risk plans.
• Design and implement sustainable stormwater infrastructure, including drainage systems, retention basins, and flood barriers.
• Assess and address the unique needs of both urban and rural areas.
• Analyse hydrological data to inform planning and design decisions.

Skills & experience   

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or other relevant engineering discipline) or recognized degree with relevant experience.
• Significant recent experience in investigation and design of stormwater infrastructure works.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder negotiation.
• Current Class C driver’s license and General Construction Induction (White) card.
