N:N is a Business Process Outsourcing Company providing insurance processing services for Australian Insurance Brokers.
We are currently looking for an experienced Insurance Broker to join our team as a subject matter expert to handle escalations, mentor the wider team and assist with the refinement and maintenance of our business processes in our Strata Insurance Team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Strata Insurance Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Strata insurance market, including policies, coverage options, and industry trends. Stay informed about regulatory changes that might impact insurance offerings. Ensure this knowledge is passed to the team
· Insurance Placement: Source and negotiate insurance policies from our panel of insurance carriers to match clients' needs. Compare coverage and costs to present clients with multiple options.
· Policy Management: Oversee policy administration, including processing policy endorsements, renewals, and claims. Ensure accurate and timely communication between clients and insurance carriers.
· Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique insurance requirements and providing personalized advice and solutions.
· Assessment and Analysis: Evaluate client risk profiles and insurance needs
· Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards while assisting clients with compliance-related matters.
· Client Education: Educate clients about insurance products, terms, and conditions, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding their coverage.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, policies, and transactions using appropriate software and tools.
The Ideal Candidate will posses
· Insurance Expertise: Proven experience as an Insurance Broker in the Australian market, preferably with a comprehensive knowledge of Strata Insurance products, regulations, and industry practices.
· Client-Centric Approach: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions effectively.
· Team Mentor: As the Subject matter expert in a geographically diverse team this role includes assisting processors to improve their processes and understand their workflows.
· Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with insurance carriers to secure favourable outcomes for clients in both premium terms and claims.
· Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail when processing policies, endorsements, and claims to ensure accuracy.
· Time Management: Ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality service.
· Ethical Conduct: Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behaviour in all interactions.
· Software Proficiency: Familiarity with insurance broking software and tools including Winbeat, Insite, SCTP and Sunrise
Qualifications:
· Licensing: Tier 1 qualifications necessary for insurance broking in Australia, including Diploma in Insurance broking.
