About the companyJoin a rapidly growing Private Wealth Advisory firm in this newly created Strategic Advisor role. In this pivotal role you will work alongside, and reporting into, the Partners to help elevate Advisory Standards and improving internal frameworks with a strong focus on compliance and best practice. This role will suit an experienced Financial Adviser or Paraplanner with a keen interest in Process Improvement, Compliance and Training.

About the role

Bringing years of experience in Financial Advisory to the table, you will use your technical expertise and deep knowledge of Finance & Tax laws and regulations to align processes and procedures with the highest levels of compliance and best practice advisory. Digging into and improving processes, you will make a significant impact on the efficiency and the growth of the business. From a high level strategic point of view you will collaborate closely with the Partners to develop and implement strategic initiatives. As this is a boutique, lean running, advisory there is still a hands-on component to this role too. You will work closely with the advisers and be hands-on in preparing SOA documents and provide them with practical support where needed, and participate in weekly training sessions and coach less experienced team members.

Required knowledge and experience:

- Minimum 5 years of experinece in Financial Advice or Paraplanning
- Strong technical knowledge (especially around compliance)
- Strong competence with financial strategies involving entities such as Companies, Trusts and SMSF
- Relevant Degree (Commerce, Finance, Economics, Accounting), ideally supplemented with a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Certification
- Excellent team player with a positive attitude
- Adhere to relevant processes, procedures and management of workflow
- Maintain confidentiality and other compliance standards
