Salary up to $123,189.06 per annum plus. (Salary package will be assessed based on skills, experience and qualifications). Ideally, we are seeking a person to fill this position on a full-time basis. Requests to work part time will be considered for the right applicant.

We are looking for a team member with a strong Development Contributions focus to join our Land Use Planning team.
You will be working in a small team that is responsible for preparing, monitoring and reviewing Council's Development Contribution Plans and Planning Agreements. You will also be assessing development contribution referrals, issuing invoices for payment and providing input into Council's Infrastructure Delivery Program. The provision of community infrastructure in the West Dapto Release Area and other parts of the City is a key focus area.

What you will be doing:
- Updating Council's City-wide Development Contributions Plan 2023
- Finalising the review and implementation of the draft West Dapto Development Contributions Plan 2024
- Negotiating Planning Agreements
- Preparing reports to Council on Contribution Plans and Planning Agreements
- Reviewing Development Contribution referrals as part of Development Assessment
- Issuing Development Contribution invoices
- Monitoring payment of contributions
- Monitoring and responding to changes in legislation
- Monitoring contributions budgets
- Inputting into the development of Council's Infrastructure Delivery Plan
We are looking for an experienced Development ContributionsStrategic Project Officer, who can work independently, is committed to contributing and working closely with other team members. In this role you need great attention to detail, high-level communication and problem-solving skills. Ideally you will enjoy being involved in research, project management and be able to provide information in a timely manner.
