STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

We are currently recruiting an experienced Strategy Development Manager to support and develop strategic opportunities and tenders across the Downer Utilities Australia and New Zealand businesses.
This role is accountable for undertaking market, government, industry and economic research, analysis and planning in order to inform Downer Utilities business strategy. This role will be accountable for facilitating and developing the Downer Utilities Business Strategy including supporting M&A activities (where applicable), and business positioning in our key markets.
ABOUT YOU
- Over 5 years’ experience working for a Management Consultant or in an equivalent role.
- Experience working at a senior level in or with the infrastructure or services sector in a strategy role.
- Experience of strategic client positioning and management of client opportunities
- Outstanding written communication skills, negotiation skills and relationship-building skills at a strategic level
- Excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and positively with internal and external stakeholders and the ability to take ownership and close out actions with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
