We now seek a Projects Pursuit - Business Development Manager to work with Mining & Oil & Gas EPCS to grow the business in Australia & expand into Further International APAC Territories.
Responsibilities;
- Set meetings and build important relationships to bid & win $1Million + Projects.
- Travel, be developed and included in the companies university and personal development programmes.
- Hunt, be proactive and be a high level performer.
- Define a strategy for business growth and execute.
- Engage your engineering & internal support teams to support your success and execute projects.
- Bring in your own contacts and make valuable new introductions.
- Drive new business, take daily massive action and maintain high activity levels and standards.
- Specification sales & high level follow up and influence.
- Wine, dine & entertain important industry stakeholders.
- Work within the team to look for opportunities for business growth and improvement.
- Sell a Trusted Brand based on Integrity & Proven Performance.
- Demonstrate a high level of Mechanical or Engineering acumen to clients and to your team.
Experience;
- 5 + Years EPC Projects Sales.
- Project Sales Experience with clients Rio Tinto, Pegasus, Bechtel, Downer, John Holland, Theiss, CMC, Fortescue, Strata, Newmount, Yancoal Monodelphus, Alcoa, Santos, QLNG, AAROW ideal.
- Bidding, Tendering, Proposals, closing experience.
- Knifegate / Control Valves, Slurry, Water, Fluid Transfer, Flow Management, Rotating Equipment Technical Sales Experience 5 + years.
- Ability to engage high level stakeholders to win Projects.
- Hunger, drive, professionalism and passion.
- High Level Engineering Acumen, specification sales, calculations and the ability to interpret drawings.
- Engineering, MBA, Higher Level Education is ideal.
We are looking for some one who is autonomous enough to visit the office 1-2 days a fortnight, happy for you to work from home as your business is mostly metro.
Base salary $140,000 - $170,000 + Car + Super + Bonus
