The Opportunity
You will be working within the Sustainability & Government Relations department with our client. This initiative is pivotal to their long-term success and seeks top-tier talent to lead and execute their vision. We are looking for a dynamic professional to shape the future of our Sustainability landscape.
Our Client
Embark on an exciting journey to shape our client's Sustainability & Government Relations Department. Committed to fostering an innovative, collaborative culture, we aim for excellence as our standard. This role reports to the Senior Manager – Sustainability Governance, our client's Australia branch.
About the role
- ESG Performance Metrics: Establish and enhance systems to monitor and improve ESG metrics.
- Sustainability Strategy: Support the development of our client's Australia's Sustainability Strategy.
- Reporting Compliance: Ensure accurate ESG data reporting for regulatory deadlines.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Contribute to an annual Australia ESG report, fostering effective communication.
- Goal Achievement & Communication: Contribute to sustainability goals and communicate achievements transparently in Australian ESG reports.
What we are looking for
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in a regulated sector with a deep understanding of ESG risks.
• Proficiency in data analysis and strong quantitative skills for assessing ESG metrics (rich understanding of scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and targets).
• Demonstrated ability in driving ESG performance in medium to large corporate organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
