About the role
We’re looking for a professional who enjoys working collaboratively with stakeholders to support the development of win strategies for upcoming projects.
The role is more than that. It’s hands-on – setting strategy meetings, research, writing and providing a hand on bids when needed.
The role is focused on supporting General Managers, Development Leads and Bid Teams through a process to develop strategies ahead of formal project bid phases, and building on the current Strategy to Win process to drive a consistent approach across the work winning function. This includes supporting Strategy to Win workshops through scheduling and attendance management; development of support material such as presentations, papers, and communication of clear summaries and actions following the sessions.
This role may suit someone with a business, proposal, research/academic or marketing and communication background. Some of our most valued team members have come from diverse personal and professional backgrounds such as journalism, fundraising and the arts. CVs that show a background in construction and professional services are welcomed – so too will CVs from other fields that demonstrate writing experience, organisational ability and people skills.
This is a national role and will involve working with bid teams based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Our roles are office based, with flexible options including staggered start and finish times.

- Facilitate the Strategy to Win process and capture discussion outputs. Workshops will typically be carried out by a Development Lead
- Work with bid teams to develop well thought out win strategies
- Engage with Bid Leads and Proposal Managers to facilitate transfer of discussion outputs from the pre-bid to bid phases
- Manage content in SharePoint-based platforms, with ad-hoc control and formatting of Office documents
- Coordinate production/scripting of technical videos to support proposals and projects
- Research pipeline projects, develop background presentations, and support bid teams with specific client and market research
Writing and editorial skills are required to support delivery of clear, concise strategy papers and presentations, and ad-hoc support for bids.
