The Position:
Due to growth in our business we are looking for a mid level Structural Engineer to join our team based in Stafford, you will work on a wide range of architectural residential and light commercial projects.
This is a permanent position opportunity in highly regarded and established business. This consultancy values its staff, and supports continued development.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to work independently, focus on quality and liaise with clients
- Be able to conduct site inspections and conduct report writing
- Be able to communicate clearly and confidently with clients
- Conduct structural design, with regard to concrete, steel, and steel design to Australian Standards
- Computer aide drafting skills
- Interpolating geotechnical reports
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- 4 -5 years experience
- Be working towards an RPEQ
- Experience in structural analysis software packages i.e. Slabs
- Geotechnical knowledge and experience would be an advantage
- Sound AutoCAD and Revit drafting skills
- Posses good report writing skills
- Highly developed commination skills
- Open drivers license
- Fluent English
