About the Role
Working in a dynamic, challenging position in a supportive team environment. It involves organising quotes, providing technical drawings and construction details, material lists and specifications, liaising with installers, managing feedback, reporting etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Design of various structures, including tower cranes, concrete boom pumps, residential housing, swimming pools and signage
- Writing structural reports
- Management of client relationships
- Site inspections
- Administrative duties as required
- Producing and communicating technical documents to design engineer
- Designing structural elements
- Taking measurements/notes during site visits
- Assisting with the coordination of any projects
- Administration tasks
The Ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience
- Tertiary qualifications in civil/ Structural Engineering with eligibility for membership of Engineers Australia
- Experience in SPACEGASS, SLABS, AutoCAD, Excel and Word
- Good technical knowledge of Australian Standards
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent time management skills and proactive attitude
- General construction induction card (white card)
- Vehicle and valid drivers licence
- Full working rights in Australia, either citizenship or permanent residency
