Your new role
Your new role as a Structural Engineer will see you liaising with clients, providing technical detailed design and calculations and coordinating projects to achieve engineering excellence. With a focus on public infrastructure and heritage buildings, this consultancy works closely with local and state governments in their work, and has long-standing relationships with a range of clients. This role will see you visiting sites and liaising with clients, builders, architects and other consultants.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have a civil engineering background, with a focus on Structural Engineering. Local experience and a background in engineering consultancies is desirable, as is the ability to undertake detailed design work and provide clear advice to relevant stakeholders. A background in reinforced and prestressed concrete, structural steel and timber frames is highly advantageous.
