What you'll do:
- Undertake analysis and design of bridge & civil structures for projects throughout Western Australia.
- Undertake inspections of bridges and civil structures.
- Prepare design calculations and technical reports under the guidance of more senior engineers.
- Work with drafters and modellers to develop design solutions.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and clients as required during project delivery.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in civil and/or Structural Engineering with a keen interest in Structural Engineering.
- Member of Engineers Australia or similar international institution and keen to work towards chartered status with WSP's support.
- Up to 5 years of relevant design experience, including detailed design, inspection, assessment, and strengthening and repair of bridge structures.
- Strong technical skills in structural analysis and experience of various types of bridge & civil structures.
- Experience developing designs, reports and specifications to meet client requirements under supervision.
- Ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for quality of deliverables and meeting deadlines.
- Previous project experience is desirable.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a digital environment and open to new ways of working.
