The Role:
Our collaborative Melbourne Building Structures team is growing! This success has been driven by a passionate team focused on successful client outcomes and in turn we now are looking for a Junior Engineer focused on building structures.
You will be working in collaboration with other principal and senior level engineers and be responsible for delivering solutions across a wide variety of engineering projects.
Key Accountabilities:
- Preparation of concept and schematic designs for a variety of building structures
- Undertaking detailed analysis, design computations and running complex models and constructability reviews
- Peer review of detailed calculations, technical reports, and design concepts.
- Co-ordination and participation of designs with other project team consultants, Architects, and clients.
- Visits to construction and project sites to perform site inspections and to provide observation reports and supporting engineering advice.
About You:
- Relevant engineering qualifications
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in building design and engineering practices specifically concrete design.
- Capability to perform concept, and detailed design.
