Your new role
Your role will be a Structural Design Engineer specialising in all facets of Structural Engineering design, documentation and construction stage services, related to buildings and other projects. Part of the role will require you to work closely with clients, architects, and other engineers to ensure that the structural systems are designed to meet the project requirements and additionally, to ensure client satisfaction and to generate repeat business.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in structural building design.
Strong knowledge of structural principals, Australian standards and codes.
Structural design in buildings is essential. Ideally including; basements, multilevel basements, multi-storey buildings, concrete, steel and timber.
Experience in post-tension design and precast concrete design.
Proficient in industry-standard drafting software such as ETABS, RAPT, SPACEGASS, Structural Toolkit and Revit.
Experience in structural design projects from concept through to completion.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients, architects, and other engineers.
Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
