About the role
Based in Darwin, this position will form an integral part of our engineering team and the future growth of our national business. The role involves taking responsibility for various Structural Engineering services working across a variety of sectors including health, education, commercial, urban, civic, and recreational. The role will include:
- Providing Structural Engineering services in our Darwin office
- Structural design, inspections, assessment, and reporting
- Structural technical reviews and guidance to the broader team
- Identification of project opportunities
- Liaising with clients on projects and potential projects
- Interacting with our broader team for successful project delivery
- Contributing to the national Structural Engineering team
- Learning and professional development
- Innovative thinking
About you
The following attributes are essential for this role:
- Tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia)
- 5+ years’ experience with sound understanding of Australian structural standards
- Eligibility for MIEAust or higher
- Willingness to share knowledge and assist in the development of team members
- Experience with structural analysis software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members
- Ability to engage and communicate with a broad range of clients and stakeholders
- A drive to contribute ideas and improve structural processes and systems

The following skills / qualifications will be highly regarded:
- Experience in the NT market
- NT Structural Registration, RPEQ CPEng or similar or desire and ability to obtain
