The NSW & ACT Underground Structures team is a leader in the design of underground structures including cut and cover tunnels, retaining wall, foundations and other civil structures in the NSW market. With a growing pipeline of work across a range of different projects and sectors, we are seeking a Structural Engineer to provide expertise to our projects.

The role offers an exciting opportunity for career progression within a dynamic and vibrant team to deliver sustainable outcomes and client service excellence. Supporting the existing team, this technical design role works across various projects, from reference design through to detailed design and construction phase support work on project across various industries, with a transport focus.

What are we looking for from you?

• The preferred candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Structural/Civil Engineering and previous relevant experience in structural design of underground/civil structures;
• Previous consultancy and transport sector experience, familiar with working as part of project teams with both internal and external clients.
• Relevant experience in the design and documentation of retaining structures, deep shafts, cut and cover tunnels and/or reinforced soil and rock construction;
• Working knowledge of structural analysis software and use the relevant design or modelling software;
• Working knowledge of Australian Standards, TfNSW specifications and structural analysis software;
• Complies with sustainability and safety requirements, industry standards and conventions in technical documentation.
