Qualifications & experience
- Graduate Engineering Degree – Structural (or Civil with significant steel structural design experience).
- Minimum 3 years (or more) of post-graduate Australian engineering work experience including design of steel structures and preferably temporary works.
- Extensive experience in temporary structure design and analysis is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with AS/NZS1576 series of Standards is highly preferable.
- Have or be eligible to apply for registration as a professional engineer with MIEAust, NER, Fair Trading (NSW), BLA (Vic), RPEQ.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate, communicate and work effectively in a dynamic team.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Design review and certification of temporary structures, including scaffolding, falsework and public access structures.
- Liaison with drafting, sales and project delivery teams and customer / site representatives and other engineers.
