AddressOTF Steel Fabrication is a Central Coast based fabrication company that supplies and installs Structural Steel. The company has grown over the past 20yrs to be a business that fabricates in excess of 1000T of Structural Steel per year. Due to the increased turnover of work, a position has opened for a Structural Steel Estimator.
Qualifications & experience
- Must have relevant and current experience as an estimator/project coordinator including a strong knowledge of Structural Steel products and applications
- Ability to understand and read construction drawings essential
- Able to manage and develop client relationships
- Certificate IV in building and construction (Estimating) or similar qualification or experience would be preferable
- Strong working knowledge of excel and StruMis would be desirable
Tasks & responsibilities
- Customer liaison and communication for all sales enquiries, quote requests, project management and follow ups
- Estimating and quote preparation for all fabrication and installation requirements including labour, equipment and materials and outsourcing
- Track all costs against project estimations including tracking variations and/or rectification works.
