Structural Steel Estimator

Our highly experienced team of master fabricators and installers works meticulously to provide top-notch services to our clients.

The Role

As we continue to expand our scope of work and grow our team, we are in search of an intermediate to senior level Estimator. The ideal candidate will have a successful portfolio of historical achievements and a solid foundation in a similar role.

Your primary responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Collaborating with clients to gather all requirements for the estimation process.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
• Identifying and sourcing tender opportunities. 
• Negotiating with suppliers and clients to ensure the best outcome for the business.
• Ensuring effective execution of projects to meet client expectations and job profitability.
• Finding new suppliers
• Identifying more competitive and cost-effective manufacturing methods.
• Using cost estimation tools to determine the cost of materials, equipment, and labour.
• Maintaining accurate records of estimates and cost workings.

To be a suitable candidate for this position, you must have the following qualifications:

• Proficient in reading engineering and architectural drawings.
• Familiarity with reading elevations on drawings. 
• Experience with Excel, Outlook, and Word software.
• In-depth knowledge of Structural Steel members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and impeccable time management skills.
• Proficient with Blue Beam
