GB Amos Metal Engineering is a medium sized Structural Steel fabrication company looking for multiple experienced and motivated site based Structural Steel Riggers/ Steel Boilermaker to join our friendly and hardworking team in Victoria.
Position Required:
Must have advanced experienced in Structural Steel Erection having worked in the Structural Steel building environment with at least 3 years prior experience.
Task / Responsibilities include:
Tasks would include the assembly, installation, bolting and marking out of Structural Steel for commercial/ industrial / educational developments, ranging in size and complexity with stringent quality details and short time frames throughout the Melbourne Metro and surrounds.
Certificates and Skills:
Must be able to read and interpret marking plans and erection drawings.
Must be able to work as a team and or individually as required.
Must have a proactive approach to safety requirements.
Must comply with Project requirements and deadlines.
Proven Structural Steel erection experience working with Structural Steel and hold relevant trade certificates.
High Risk Work License- DG, RB (Essential)
Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
White Card (Essential)
Must be available for shift work and overtime if required
Self-starter, reliable, friendly and have a positive attitude
