You could be one of our 2700 committed team members who are up to the challenge.About the roleAs the Structures Ganger you are integral to the success of V/Line's Network Development Asset and Maintenance (NDAM) Group. You will provide timely reactive and minor maintenance and construction works on V/Lines Structural assets such as bridges, structures and other building across the network to defined performance standards and provide timely response to emergencies associate with bridges and structures. The role will require a sense of urgency with strong time management skills as well as being supportive and encouraging to the team. Key Accountabilities include:Coordination and participation in maintenance works associated with structures, buildings, bridges and culvertsSupervise a team of V/line and Contracted staff as well as participate in repairs and maintenance of structuresBe a point of call for the teamDemonstrate a high level of safety and lead by exampleBe available for on call emergencies and flexible to work and travel throughout the region on afternoon and night shift when requiredAdopts a positive attitude to change and demonstrates positiveness to the teamCurrent Roster Tuesday to Friday 7 to 4.30 providing you with a work life balance and more time doing the things outside of work you enjoy.About youWorking a part of an inclusive diverse culture who are passionate, safety focused and act with integrity and honesty will be a big part of joining this existing team, you will want to bring a positive passionate approach which will in turn see you succeed in this next step of your career. Remuneration for this position will be in line with the Asset Management Enterprise Agreement 2019 and will be paid as IMW (TRACK) 2.3 $44.2564 per hour plus superannuation and 17.5% leave loading.
