As a motivated, caring, positive psychologist or social worker, you will be committed to achieving excellent outcomes for clients using a person centered framework and evidence-based approaches.
You will be part of a friendly, supportive, dedicated and professional counselling team with regular opportunities to share learnings and participate in peer consultation.
In addition to a diverse student caseload, you will have the opportunity to be part of innovative student centric projects.Your Skills and Qualifications:Qualifications
- Registration with AHPRA to practice as a Psychologist, or eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology or Social Work
- Expertise in the provision of evidence based short-term psychological counselling with a diverse population who present with a broad range of issues of varying complexity including mental health.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to develop and maintain strong professional relationships within and external to Box Hill Institute.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and cooperatively in a team environment to foster a culture of student satisfaction and continuous service improvement.
